The game is played until one or more players reach 100 points. At that time, the player with the lowest score wins. DEALING Before most hands, each player must pass three cards to another player. On the first hand, players pass to their left. On the second, to the right. Third--pass across. Fourth--no pass. GAMEPLAY The player who holds the two of clubs leads the first trick. Play continues in a clockwise fashion. Each player must play a card of the same suit as the card that was led. If the player does not have a card of that suit, he or she may play any card in their hand. Once all four players have played a card, the player who played the highest card of the suit that was led wins the trick, and receives points based on the four cards (see below). That player begins the next trick by playing any card. (NOTE: A player cannot lead hearts unless hearts has already been played, or if they have no other cards in their hand) POINTS All cards in the hearts suit are worth 1 point. The queen of spades is worth 13 points. (NOTE: If a player wins all 26 points in a single game, it is called "Shooting the Moon."
